Black Crow Smart ID flows will continue to stay live and drive incremental revenue alongside your business-as-usual flows. Any changes that you make to your business-as-usual flows, should be made to your Black Crow flows. Our team is happy to QA; email support@blackcrow.ai.
What if I launch a brand new Cart, Checkout or Browse Abandonment flow?
Please notify support@blackcrow.ai when brand new flows have been created and the Black Crow Support team will ensure we duplicate those flows, apply the correct filters, and add the Smart ID trigger.
If I was initially only leveraging one or two abandonment flow types, can I expand which Black Crow abandonment flows I have set up?
Absolutely! As long as you are expanding to a Cart, Checkout or Browse Abandonment flows, our support team can set up Black Crow Smart ID flows. Please reach out to support@blackcrow.ai with the information on the BAU (business as usual) Abandonment flow you would like Smart ID enabled for.
What if I change the trigger event of one of my standard abandonment flows? Do I need to do anything else or let you know?
If you change the trigger event of one of your standard abandonment flows after Smart-ID has been set up for you, the flow filters that referenced the old trigger event in any of the Smart ID flows or your other standard abandonment flows also need to be changed to use the new trigger event accordingly. How is your solution privacy compliant? GDPR? CCPA?
Our solution is completely privacy compliant. Our product is simply helping brands set a stickier cookie. When brands need to establish consent before setting a cookie, we’ll only set the cookie when the brand wants to.
How do you treat users that opt out of tracking?
We are compliant and don’t set cookies for users who have opted out of tracking. Our infrastructure helps you set a more persistent cookie for users that consent to tracking.
How does Smart ID identify additional emails for my abandonment flows?
Smart ID empowers our brand partners to set privacy safe server-side cookies/identifiers which give you a much more effective way of identifying the visitors that are coming to your site. This allows you to recognize and communicate with your returning visitors, who have already provided their email to you previously, after their third party cookies have been wiped from Safari.
How do I know the list growth or abandonment revenue you’re driving is incremental?
We will setup up separate welcome flows and abandonment flows that are mutually exclusive with their filters so that you can always know that the revenue you’re driving is incremental to your business-as-usual flows.
Will Black Crow impact my site speed?

What can I expect in terms of performance from these flows?
The improvement in abandonment sends and revenue can vary significantly by brand based on your site experience and user behavior. The more users who opt-in to communication, the larger the opportunity is for identity restoration. More specifically, we’ve seen larger increases in abandonment performance on a percentage basis if a brand (1) has a welcome offer on your site (the more compelling the offer is the better), and (2) if you have a high rate of previous customers returning to the site.
