Predictive Offer Creative Change - Klaviyo

The following steps will allow you to make changes as needed to the Predictive Offer feature, enabling different creatives for promo periods or seasonal changes.

Please follow these steps if you use Klaviyo sign-up units, as well as flows.

Klaviyo Overlays

Upon creation of a fresh design for your Sign-Up Forms (both Mobile and Desktop fullscreen, if applicable), kindly adhere to the following steps:

Note: if you're running an A/B test in your new Sign-Up form, please disable Predictive Offer and wait until the test is over before creating the Black Crow units. You may re-enable Predictive Offer after the A/B test is complete to avoid the possibility of the same shopper seeing different variations of the form. 

Note: if your new Sign-Up form has only a SMS collection step, please do not duplicate it. Please edit the form to add an Email collection step before duplicating it, or disable Predictive Offer.

1. Duplicate your newly created Mobile Sign-Up form, simply adding "- Black Crow" to the end of the name.
   Example: If the original name is "Fullscreen 20% Welcome" the clone should be named "Fullscreen 20% Welcome - Black Crow."

2. Within the form, change the "Targeting & behavior" to “Only on a custom trigger."
   This action will ensure that the unit is not triggered by Klaviyo rules, but instead allows the triggering responsibility to be controlled by Black Crow's Machine Learning.

3. Uncheck the boxes available in Devices - Click outside form to close. If you there's any box you can't uncheck, leave as it is.
4. Remove the Teaser (Instructions here)
5. Activate/Publish the Form. Due to the custom trigger, the form will not go live until you activate the units in the Black Crow Portal (see steps below).
6. If needed, follow the same steps for your Desktop unit.

Scheduling a Sign-up Unit

If you want, it's possible to schedule a Sign-up Form in the Klaviyo Platform. This would be for visibility purposes only: if you followed the previous instructions and correctly set up your new Sign-up Form in the Black Crow Portal (see steps below), then this should be enough to for your Sign-up Form to activate at the appropriate time.

Attention: please make sure that the date and hour you put in the schedule in the Klaviyo Platform is the same you put in the Black Crow Portal. Pay special attention to time zone differences. 

Klaviyo Flows

The following Loom walks through the steps below:

If you created a new Flow in Klaviyo for the new sign-up forms, please complete the following steps. This will be able to show appropriate attribution in platform (Black Crow signups flowing to the Black Crow flow, non-Black Crow signups to the non-Black Crow flow).

1. Duplicate your newly created flow, simply adding "- Black Crow" to the end of the name.
   Example: If the original name is "Welcome Series" the clone should be named "Welcome Series - Black Crow."
2. Add a Conditional Split below the Trigger on the first step of this new flow, with the following Settings:
   1. Properties about someone
   2. blackcrow_identified is set
   3. Type: Text

3. Add a tag to your Black Crow flow:

1. 1. Navigate to your flow list, and click on the three dots next to the Black Crow flow
   2. Select Edit Details
   3. Select or add the tag BC Welcome

4. In the original flow that was cloned, add a Conditional Split below the Trigger on the first step, with the opposite Settings of the Black Crow flow:

1. 1. Properties about someone
   2. blackcrow_identified is not set
   3. Type: Text

5. Add a tag to the original flow that was cloned:

1. 1. Navigate to your flow list, and click on the three dots next to the original flow
   2. Select Edit Details
   3. Select or add the tag BAU Welcome
