The following steps will allow you to make changes as needed to the Predictive Offer feature, enabling different creatives for promo periods or seasonal changes.
Please follow these steps if you use Attentive sign-up units, as well as journeys.

Attentive Journeys
If you are using new journeys paired with the new sign-up units, please complete this section before moving on.
- Duplicate your newly created journey, simply adding "- Black Crow" to the end of the name.
Example: If the original name is "Welcome New Subscribers" the clone should be named "Welcome New Subscribers - Black Crow." - If you want to be able to track Black Crow metrics in a Platform beyond Attentive (e.g. if you want different UTM parameters to track these separately in Google Analytics), please contact support@blackcrow.ai
- Turn on the Black Crow journey.
- Repeat these steps with other new journeys (Email, SMS, etc) if needed.
Attentive Sign-up Units
Note: if you're running an A/B test in your new Sign-Up form, please disable Predictive Offer and wait until the test is over before creating the Black Crow units. You may re-enable Predictive Offer after the A/B test is complete to avoid the possibility of the same shopper seeing different variations of the form.
Note: if your new Sign-Up form has only a SMS collection step, please do not duplicate it. Please edit the form to add an Email collection step before duplicating it, or disable Predictive Offer.
Upon creation of a fresh design for your Sign-Up Units (both Mobile and Desktop fullscreen, if applicable), kindly adhere to the following steps:
- Duplicate your newly created Mobile Fullscreen unit, simply adding "- Black Crow" to the end of the name.
Example: If the original name is "Mobile Fullscreen - 15% Off," the clone should be named "Mobile Fullscreen - 15% Off - Black Crow."

- Add a new "show" rule where “user has cookie” of "black_crow_in_control" with a value of “true”.
This action will ensure that the unit is not triggered by Attentive rules, but instead allows the triggering responsibility to be controlled by Black Crow's Machine Learning.

- Make sure any "Bubbles" are removed from the form (Instructions here)
- Assign the new unit to the appropriate Black Crow SMS and/or Email journey - either the one you were currently using or the new journey created above.
- Activate/Publish the Form. Due to the cookie, the form will not go live until you activate the units in the Black Crow portal (see steps below).
- If needed, follow the same steps for your Desktop unit.
Scheduling a Sign-up Unit
If you want, it's possible to schedule a Sign-up Unit in the Attentive Platform. This would be for visibility purposes only: if you followed the previous instructions and correctly set up your new Sign-up Units in the Black Crow Portal (see steps below), then this should be enough to for your Sign-up Units to activate at the appropriate time.

Attention: please make sure that the date and hour you put in the schedule in the Attentive Platform is the same you put in the Black Crow Portal. Pay special attention to time zone differences.
