Attentive: How to put coupon codes into Predictive Repurchase messages

If you’ve opted to include incentives in some or all of the messages in Black Crow AI’s Predictive Repurchase Attentive journeys, you’ll need to do the following steps when Black Crow AI shares draft journeys with you:

1. Login to Attentive.
2. Go to Journeys.
3. Search for “Black Crow”. Do the following steps for each of “Black Crow - Predictive Replenishment”, “Black Crow - Predictive Cross Sell” and “Black Crow - Predictive Subscribe” if all were set up (or whatever subset of these were set up for you).
   1. Click on the journey.
   2. Click “Edit draft”.
   3. Inspect each text message in the journey to look for places that say “ENTER-DISCOUNT-CODE-HERE” (look for it after the “landingPageUrl” variable).
   4. Replace “ENTER-DISCOUNT-CODE-HERE” with the coupon code you want to include in the URL so it applies automatically to the user’s order. You can use an existing coupon code if you like or create new coupon codes in Shopify.
   5. Inspect each email in the journey. Look at the section called “Custom URL parameters (optional)” to find places where there’s one with Name set to discount.
   6. Replace the Value field for the URL parameter named discount with the coupon code you want to include in the URL so it applies automatically to the user’s order. You can use an existing coupon code if you like or create new coupon codes in Shopify.
